Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
The Special Interest Groups currently in existence are:
- Ionising Radiation Protection
- Non-Ionising Radiation
- Magnetic Resonance
- Research & Education Each SIG chooses a convener who agrees to organise meetings for the group and act as a liaison person between the SIG and the Executive Committee. A report on the activities of the SIG is given each year at the AGM. Information about a SIG can be obtained by contacting the convener (see below for names and contact details) or watching for notices of meetings on the APSM newsgroup. Members interested in contributing to a SIG can forward their e-mail address or postal address to the convener and they will then be added to the mailing list for that SIG. This ensures that they will receive notice of meetings and minutes of previous meetings.
